Mary Erin Bongiorno, age 63, of Flat Rock, Michigan, passed away on October 15, 2026. Born on July 26, 1963, in Dearborn, Michigan, Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear sister.
Mary was an active member of the Irish community in Detroit, where she embraced her heritage with pride and passion. She brought joy and warmth to all who knew her through her kindness and generosity of spirit.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, John Bongiorno; her children, Erin and Michael (Carol); her beloved grandchild, Ryan; and her sister, Jane. Mary’s family and friends will remember her for her unwavering love and gentle nature.
Mary Erin Bongiorno will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
